4 Ways to Enjoy July 4th Weekend Safely

Summer's long weekends and holidays are normally a time when we relax with family and friends, host or attend a BBQ, have a weekend getaway, or enjoy the local fireworks.  With mass closures, fireworks cancellations, social distancing, and mask mandates, we’re all left wondering if and how we can celebrate the holidays safely this summer.  Depending on where you live, your options may be limited, but there are still ways to get outside and safely enjoy a summer weekend.

1) Get outside for a walk or hike

Grab your family or a friend you haven’t caught up with in a while and head out for a distanced walk or hike nearby.  Bring some snacks and a thermos of CBD spiked sangria and enjoy the fresh air and fresh views after your stretch at home.

2) Go Camping

Grab that tent from the garage and pitch it in your yard or a campsite nearby.  There is no better way to disconnect from the world and reconnect with family or friends outside of the screens and routines of home.  Camping is naturally distanced from others and will help relieve any pent-up anxiety or cabin fever.  Bring along Shanti Balance for further relaxation of mind and body, and get s’more-ing.

3) Distanced Picnic

Quarantine doesn’t have to mean social isolation.  If your county allows, grab some friends and blankets and head to an open area of a park for a distanced picnic.  Sit 6 feet apart in a circle and catch up over apps and beverages.

4) Start an Immunity Routine
